Kristyn Cook, CLU

Kristyn Cook, CLU, is Senior Vice President – Agency & Marketing at State Farm Insurance Companies in Bloomington, Ill. In this role, she has leadership responsibility for the Marketing and Agency functions, which help support the State Farm Agency Force that is 19,000+ strong.

Kristyn joined State Farm in 1999 and has held various positions in marketing and financial services before becoming a State Farm Agent in Chicago, IL in 2007. After several years, she moved to Corporate Headquarters in 2010 and served in a variety of leadership roles before becoming Vice President Agency – Sales in the West Central Market Area in January 2013 and Area Vice President in the Southeastern Market Area in 2015. She assumed her current position in January 2019.

In September 2022, Kristyn was named to the role of Chief Agency, Sales & Marketing Officer and will assume the position on January 1, 2023. 

In addition to her leadership responsibilities at State Farm, Kristyn spends time giving back to the community through various education initiatives. Kristyn also serves as a Board Member for Bakkt Holdings, Inc. 

Kristyn received a Bachelor's Degree in Policy Studies from Syracuse University and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration (MPA) from the Syracuse Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. She is a proud alumni of the Syracuse Women’s Basketball team. She completed the General Management Program at the Harvard Business School in 2017 and was named Class Speaker, the first American female in the program’s history. She holds the Chartered Life Underwriter designation (CLU).
