Ellie Mills, CLU, LUTCF

Ellie started her career at State Farm 1998. She opened her own Agency June 1st, 2002. Since then, her Agency has grown considerably and they continually strive to new levels. She is a 15 time Chairman’s Circle qualifier, Ambassador Exotic Travel, Mutual Funds Leaders, Small Business Leaders Group, SVP Club, MDRT, Presidents Club and Legion of Honor Golden Triangle. In 2012 she opened her second location as part of the Multi-office Agent pilot program. Both Agencies qualified for Ambassador Travel in 2013-2022, along with achieving State Farm benchmarks. January 1st of this year she opened her 3rd Agency and has 22 team members.

Ellie’s passion comes from personal tragedy experienced early on in her life and career. She attributes those life experiences to catapulting her into the insurance industry with the determination to help others protect their financial futures. She considers herself blessed to work in a profession that is both noble and rewarding, amidst the vast industry challenges. She was featured in the industry leading book “Women at the Top” a financial services study done about why women enter the industry and how they succeed and thrive in the business. She has spent many years speaking to audiences about the industry, her passion for the field, what drives her to never quit, along with motivating young professionals to thrive in the profession. 

Currently Ellie is active with her local Rotary Clubs, NAIFA/MAIFA, IFAPAC, Cutler Bay Business Association, Palmetto Business Association,   Boca Chamber of Commerce, The Deerfield Beach Women’s Club and Business Partner to several local area schools. She is married to Shawn for 36 years and they have two beautiful girls, Cristina (Also a SF Agent) and Summer (Who owns an event planning company).
